A new way to look back on your 2025 activity
Discord has introduced Discord Checkpoint, its own end of year recap that highlights how users spent their time on the platform throughout 2025. Rolling out over the next few days, the feature mirrors popular annual summaries like Spotify Wrapped and gives millions of Discord users a personalized look at their activity across servers, chats, voice channels and games.
In a blog post announcing the feature, the company said this is the first time it has offered a detailed, personalized breakdown of user behavior across the year. The feature will appear directly inside the Discord app on both desktop and mobile, offering quick access through pop ups or a small flag icon in the interface.
What Discord Checkpoint includes
Discord Checkpoint presents a collection of stats based on each user’s activity. Among the highlights are:
• Messages sent
• Number of emojis used
• Hours spent in voice chat
• Servers you visited most
• Friends you spent the most time with
• Discord quests completed
• Games played while using Discord
• Your most played games
The recap also gives users a snapshot of their cumulative activity across the platform, including a count of voice chat hours and a breakdown of which servers or communities kept them most engaged during the year.
After completing the recap, users receive a limited time “Avatar Decoration” that matches the visual style of their Checkpoint cards. These decorative frames can be added to profile photos and will remain available until January 15, 2025.
How to access Discord Checkpoint
Users can access the feature by updating the Discord app on desktop or mobile. Desktop users will see a notification in the direct messages section and can click the pop up or the flag icon in the top right corner. Mobile users will receive a prompt upon opening the app or while viewing their profile tab.
Once activated, the Checkpoint walkthrough guides users through their stats in a series of animated cards, offering a shareable summary of their year on Discord.
