    NFL Confirms Historic Performance

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny has been announced as the headliner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show. The news was confirmed Sunday night during halftime of the Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys game by the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation.

Super Bowl 60 is set for February 8 in Santa Clara, California. Bad Bunny, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will become one of the few Latin artists to lead the world’s most-watched music stage.

    A Celebration of Culture

In a statement released by the NFL, Bad Bunny said the honor goes beyond personal achievement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history,” he said. He urged fans to tell their families: “Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

The announcement follows the three-time Grammy winner’s record-breaking residency in Puerto Rico, which drew half a million fans, highlighting his unmatched global influence and cultural impact.

    Career at a Peak

At 31, Bad Bunny is one of the most successful Latin music stars of all time. Known for his genre-blending sound and unapologetic embrace of Puerto Rican identity, he has been a central figure in making reggaeton and Latin trap mainstream worldwide.

The Super Bowl reveal comes just days before he is set to host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. Earlier this year, he made headlines by deciding not to tour in the 50 U.S. states during his current world tour, citing concerns about possible immigration enforcement at concert venues.

    Anticipation Builds for Santa Clara

The Super Bowl halftime show has become as iconic as the game itself, and Bad Bunny’s performance is expected to deliver a mix of energy, culture, and spectacle. Fans across the globe are already speculating about potential guest performers and the setlist for what is expected to be a historic show.
