First Woman to Lead the Iconic Venue

Gwen Stefani is set to make history as the first woman to headline the Sphere in Las Vegas. Billboard confirmed that the pop-rock icon will reunite with her band No Doubt for a six-show residency at the cutting-edge 17,600-seat arena owned by Madison Square Garden Entertainment. The venue, which opened in late 2023, has already hosted landmark performances from U2, Eagles, Dead & Company, and Backstreet Boys.

The concerts are scheduled for 2026, with exact dates to be announced once the venue’s calendar opens beyond April. The announcement marks a major moment not only for Stefani but also for No Doubt, whose reunion has reignited global interest in the band’s energetic ska-pop legacy.

    A Long-Awaited No Doubt Reunion

No Doubt’s Sphere residency will be their most ambitious return since disbanding in 2015. The group recently played two shows at Coachella 2024 and a high-profile performance at the 2025 FireAid benefit concert, where they raised funds for victims of the Pacific Palisades fire. Their comeback performances have thrilled fans with nostalgic renditions of hits like “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak,” and “Hella Good,” along with a surprise duet with Olivia Rodrigo on “Bathwater.”

The band’s renewed stage presence highlights their enduring chemistry and influence. With Stefani’s powerful vocals, Tony Kanal’s driving bass lines, and Adrian Young’s high-energy drumming, No Doubt’s live performances continue to bridge generations of fans.

From Anaheim Roots to Global Fame

Formed in 1986 in Anaheim, California, No Doubt rose from the Southern California ska and punk scene to become one of the defining pop-rock bands of the 1990s. Their breakthrough 1995 album Tragic Kingdom topped the Billboard 200 for nine consecutive weeks and produced era-defining singles that cemented their place in music history.

Over six studio albums, the band earned two Grammy Awards and nine nominations, including nods for Tragic Kingdom as Best Rock Album and “Don’t Speak” as Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. Following years of success, the band went on hiatus in the mid-2010s as Stefani launched a chart-topping solo career, debuting with Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, “Hollaback Girl.”

A Milestone Moment for Music and Las Vegas

Stefani’s Sphere residency underscores her longevity and crossover appeal, blending nostalgia with innovation at one of the world’s most technologically advanced concert venues. The Sphere’s immersive audio-visual design and panoramic LED displays are expected to elevate No Doubt’s signature sound and style to a new dimension.

As the first woman to headline the iconic venue, Stefani’s milestone reflects both her lasting influence and the band’s continuing legacy. For longtime fans, No Doubt’s 2026 shows promise to be a powerful celebration of music, resilience, and timeless creativity.
